The Dept. of Homeland Security’s (DHS) architect and program design manager responsible for gathering (Program of Requirements), documentation (Construction Documentation review), and implementation (Construction Administration) of all users’ multi-disciplinary requirements. Initiated flexible project space and performance standards, level-set the organizational chart, and was the single point of contact (internal & external) for all DHS’ design and planning queries. Daily conduit between the General Services Administration’s (GSA) design team and DHS’ user groups. Routinely prepared schematic options to facilitate discussions with leadership, users and/or design team, thus reducing meeting quantities/durations. Provided technical advice and assistance DHS-wide with respect to real property policies, programs and procedures. Initiated and managed the branding and artifact integration effort and was a key member of the art-in-architecture, sustainability, and outfitting/procurement teams.
